UCF-UW Student Introduction Meeting on March 5, 2025
We kicked off our student introductions meeting with presentations from all groups in MEM-C at UW and PREM at UCF!

We visited two local high schools to do introduce the students to quantum materials and promote our HS internship program.

The whole PREM family got together to share our work!
PREM HS Summer Internship Program: June 9- July 18
We hosted 8 local HS students from Orange County for 5 weeks. The students participated in an orientation session and spent the entire time working in different PREM labs at UCF. The program concluded with a poster session, where the HS students presented the research they did during the program. See pictures from the poster session above.
STEMS 2025
We hosted the Science & Technology of Emerging Materials Symposium (STEMS) at UCF during Nov. 15-16. The symposium was attended by 79 participants. You can see the full program, abstracts and other details here.
STEMS included a student panel where our students discussed doing research, being in PREM, partnering with UW and much, much, more! Check out the video of the panel on our youtube page.
